Masdar is an initiative of the Abu Dhabi government, to build a brand new zero-emissions city to house clean energy companies and research institutions.

Messy designed a high-end invitation for the Australian launch of Masdar, incorporating a metallic foil design based on the map of the city. The sleeve housed a concertina invitation printed on 100% recycled paper.

By combining these two contrasting aesthetics in a harmonious design, we succeeded in conveying Masdar’s message of technology and clean energy.
